The 9th National Floorball Championships for Men, Women, U14 Boys and Girls in India were played at the end of January 2015 in New Delhi.
InFF conducted 9th National Floorball Championship from 27th- 29th January 2015 at state of the art Tyagraj Indoor Stadium. This Stadium has also hosted the Commonwealth games in 2010.
Participants from 20 states and more than 680 players played in the event.
The tournament was inaugurated by Mr. Rohit Nandan, CMD, Air India. The opening ceremony was led by Dr. Prabhat Kumar (IAS), President of Indian Floorball Federation. In his welcome speech, he congratulated each player. He assured that InFF will continue to make Floorball more popular in India.
The ceremony included a march with all participating states accompanied by a band of CISF. There were live dance performances of school children from Yuva Shakti Model School, Rohini and also Indian classical folk dance performed by Ms Bharti. Impressive floorball zorro show by Mrinal Naugain, Pankaj Tiwari, Sangita Rathi and Yash Manocha was also performed.
This big tournament which span of three days, the matches start early morning and stretched till late night. 300 officials and volunteer from 20 states ensured a smooth running of the event.
– The enthusiasm among players and the increasing amount of players taking part in the tournament proves that this sport is growing in popularity, says Arwind Kumar Singh, InFF Media Coordinator.

Delhi won the men´s category in 2015
The prize ceremony was cherished by the guest of honor Mr. R K Shrivastava IAS. The opening speech was held by Mr. Atul Gupta, Vice President of InFF and the closing speech by Dr. Pradeep Singh, General Secretary of InFF.
