The University of Ladakh in collaboration with the Indian Floorball Federation organized a Floorball Development Seminar at Leh Campus on 19th May 2022.
The seminar’s objective was to promote floorball sports and generate awareness of floorball sports in the Ladakh region.
Dr. Pradeep Singh, General Secretary, Indian Floorball Federation and Member, Asian Sports Committee of the International Floorball Federation was invited as a resource person for the Seminar. Dr. Pradeep Singh spoke on the development of floorball sports in India and Ladakh in particular. He stressed the coaching and referee/officiating aspects of the floorball game.
Thirty (30) Floorball enthusiast students participated in the Seminar.
Dr. Jigmat Dachen, Dean of Students Welfare hosted the program and coordinated the entire Seminar.
