647 players from 7 teams representing 17 states participated in the 4-day event. The Championships were managed by 100 officials and marked the emergence of a number of states which have been working hard the last few years and have been training the youngsters.
The Chief Guest, Mrs. Meena Tyagi, S.D.M. said that she was very impressed with the game and wished all the participants from across the country a successful Championship.

Mr. Atul Gupta, the Ex-President of Indian Floorball Federation highlighted the achievements of the Indian Federation during the last five years. He said that participation in international events should be the priority. Then Mr. Harinder Kumar,President of Indian Floorball Federation, welcomed all the players. He announced that this was the biggest event so far in this category. He said that floorball is developing fast and in the next few years India should work for making its place in the international arena.
The Championships included tough competition and neck to neck fights between various states. For the first time the monopoly of Delhi state was challenged in all the categories. The final results were:
