44 Future Floorball Coaches Attended a Coaching Program

The Indian Floorball Federation has taken one more step forward in preparing the national level coaches in India. 

A national level coaches training program was successfully organized November 4th – 6th at DDA sports complex, Pitampura, New Delhi, India.

This coaching program was attended by 44 participants from various states of India. The aim of this program was to develop and spread national level coaches all over India. The InFF invited Mr. Filip Dahlgren, who is coaching in Singapore, to conduct the program. During the coaching seminar all various aspects of floorball techniques were trained, such as different types of shots, passes, drills etc.

– Mr. Filip Dahlgren was very impressed of the enthusiasm of the young participants and declared that India has plenty of raw talent which is capable of achieving international standards in the coming years and shall be capable of making a mark in the International Floorball tournaments.

The Indian Floorball Federation under the President-ship of Dr. Prabhat Kumar, IAS ,shall be conducting similar kind of coaching camps from time to time in the coming future to develop many more talented coaches.

Referee and Coaching Seminar in Dehradun

The Indian Floorball Federation has taken another very important step forward in the technical field of floorball by organizing the National Floorball Seminar for referees and coaches at Dehradun (Uttarakhand) December the 22nd – 23rd 2012.

The participants of the National Seminar were invited from all over India and the aim and purpose  was for the intake and induction of qualified and registered referees and coaches in the InFF.

During the two day seminar, the participants were taught the rules & regulations, methods & procedures & all technical aspects of floorball, such as the rink measurements, goal cage, penalties, dress code, etc.

After the two days theory and practical lessons conducted all participants were put to viva and written examination and physical efficiency tests, after which all the qualified referees and coaches were awarded Mementos and Certificates with appropriate grading.

This seminar was also organized keeping in mind the upcoming 7th National Floorball Championships (Men & Women) to be held in Delhi from January 4th – 6th 2013.

Total qualified Referee: 45
Referees awarded with grade A: 13
Referees awarded with grade B: 13
Referee awarded with grade C: 19
