18 teams took part in the 62nd Indian National School Games Floorball Championship that was held a few weeks ago. The tournament was organised by the Directorate of Education, Sports Branch, GNCT of Delhi, Chhatarshal stadium, Model Town Delhi and the School Games Federation of India (SGFI). There were categories for both Boys and Girls and Delhi were victorious in both categories. Prizes were given by the President of the Indian Floorball Federation Dr. Prabhat Kumar.

The National School Games are held annually in India and consist of many different sports, Floorball being one of the sports on the programme.
With the blessings of our Past president, Dr. Prabhat Kumar, IAS and under the guidance of Sh. Atul Gupta this was the 63rd edition of the National School Games organised in India. Floorball was part of the School Games for the fifth time in a row. The whole event was conducted from November 10th to 14th 2017. The Floorball tournament lasted for five days and all the games were played in the Rajnandgaon, Chhatisgarh, India.
Mr Abhishek Singh , Member of parliament who was the chief guest on the occasion said that Floorball is growing popularly and getting positive and enthusiastic feedback from the players & audience.
The games were organized under the supervision Mr S R Karsh Asstt Director, Mr Kishor Mehra Secretary Chhatisgarh and Dr Pradeep Singh, General Secretary, InFF.
