The 13th National Floorball Championships for U17 and U14 boys and girls were organised at Yuva Shakti Model School, Rohini, New Delhi between 30th of September and 2nd of October 2018.<\/span><\/span><\/h5><\/header><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
<\/p>\n

647 players from 7 teams representing 17 states participated in the 4-day event. The Championships were managed by 100 officials and marked the emergence of a number of states which have been working hard\u00a0the last few years and have been training the youngsters.<\/p>\n

The Chief Guest,\u00a0Mrs. Meena Tyagi<\/strong>, S.D.M. said that she was very impressed with the game and wished all the participants from across the country a successful Championship.<\/p>\n

After the games,\u00a0Dr. Pradeep Singh<\/strong>, General Secretary of Indian Floorball Federation, emphasized the quality of play. He also thanked the players and officials from various states for coming all the way to participate in this mega event.<\/p>\n

Before closing the event,\u00a0Sh. Shambhu Dayal Sharma Ji<\/strong>, the chief guest at the closing ceremony and\u00a0Sh. Atul Gupta<\/strong>\u00a0awarded the winning teams. Speaking in the event, he said he was proud of the Floorball Fraternity in India. The event ended with a vote of thanks from\u00a0Mr. Ashok Kumar<\/strong>, the organizing secretary of the 13th National Floorball Championship.<\/p>\n

The Championships included tough competition and neck to neck fights between various states. For the first time the monopoly of Delhi state was challenged in all the categories. The final results were:<\/p>\n

\nRunner-up : Delhi
\n3rd Position: Maharashtra
\n4th Position: Karnataka<\/p>\n

Best Player: Aniketh, Tamilnadu

\nBest Defender: Vignesh, Tamilnadu
\nBest Goalkeeper: Akash, Tamilnadu<\/p>\n

Girls U14<\/strong>:

\nRunner-up: Maharashtra
\n3rd Position: Delhi
\n4th Position: Madhya Pradesh<\/p>\n
