{"id":917,"date":"2017-09-09T15:05:56","date_gmt":"2017-09-09T15:05:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/oxygen-club.omnicom-dev.com\/main-demo\/?p=917"},"modified":"2019-06-19T13:16:58","modified_gmt":"2019-06-19T13:16:58","slug":"oxygen-fc-fans-are-the-best","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/floorballindia.com\/InFF\/2017\/09\/09\/oxygen-fc-fans-are-the-best\/","title":{"rendered":"International Floorball Development Seminar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>An International Floorball Development seminar was carried out in Gwalior in India from the 9th to 11th of September.\u00a0It was the second international seminar, which took place in India.\u00a0<\/b><br \/>\nThere were more than 70 participants from all over India divided to two blocks, coaching and refereeing. ITM university in Gwalior provided the facilities for the seminar in the university classrooms and playground and also provided the accommodation for the participants in its campus area.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2072 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/floorballindia.com\/InFF\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/2semi2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"156\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In coaching block the seminar concentrated to educate the students to coach a team, run the practices, observer the players and also some game tactics were handled. Referee part concentrated on the rule interpretations, movements of the referees and basically what it is to be a referee.\u00a0The seminar included both classroom and practical education sessions and also some real Floorball games.<\/p>\n<p>From the IFF\u2019s side the educators were\u00a0<b>Mr. Saravanan\u00a0<\/b><b>Rajamanikam<\/b>\u00a0from Singapore and\u00a0<b>Mr.\u00a0<\/b><b>Veli<\/b>\u00a0<b>Halonen<\/b>\u00a0from the IFF office. The Indian Floorball Federation hosted the seminar together with the ITM university and<b>\u00a0Mr. Atul Gupta<\/b>, the Senior Vice President of the Indian Floorball Federation was in charge of the seminar from the Indian side.<br \/>\n\u2013<i>\u00a0It was amazing to see the enthusiasm of the participants and their will to learn about Floorball coaching and refereeing. There are also quite a few very talented players among the participants and they have a great future ahead of them<\/i>,\u00a0says Mr. Veli Halonen, the IFF operations coordinator.<br \/>\n\u2013\u00a0<i>As soon as the Indian Federation will \u201cgo\u201d international and start to play more international games the growth of Floorball will be huge in India,\u00a0<\/i>he continues.<\/p>\n<p>Floorball has grown in India rapidly and it\u2019s spread all over the country and to all major cities and regions.
